Prior to engaging Harmony Build, we were in the unfortunate position of having a builder who was constantly missing deadlines along with deteriorating quality.  I approached Harmony Build knowing of Dom leading much larger and more prestigious developments for and needing the assurance of reliable trades and tight project management. 

Despite the transition between builders, Dom was able to bring the remainder of the project in on-time and on-budget, and demonstrated great quality both personally and through his trades in the key items still to be completed.

Dom took the stress out of those remaining weeks by being open and honest about the challenges but also understanding and delivering against our original goals.   

It was reassuring to feel we had someone who was constantly thinking about how we could get our desired outcome at every step of the way despite the challenges of the situation. 

I would definitely recommend Harmony Build for their diligence and attention to detail. It makes a huge difference to work with a builder that you can trust and who has your best interests at heart.

One thing I liked about the way they work was that they took any changes to the design, of which there quite a few, in their stride. I also particularly liked their no nonsense approach – if what we requested didn’t make sense they told us their thoughts before we committed to making an expensive mistake.

We chose Harmony Build after meeting Dominic and having a good conversation about what we wanted to do with our family home. Harmony Build was able to deliver on this within our very tight timeframe to get us in our house before Christmas and to our budget.

Harmony Build were quick workers, listened to my concerns and kept me up to date with the process throughout. I know that I was a ‘high maintenance’ client but they remained calm throughout.

They did a really good job. Whenever we had concerns, Dominic was right there to work through them. He helped us go through everything in detail and sort it out. He was always prompt to solve issues and provide a solution.

We were actually pleasantly surprised by the outcome – when it all came together it looked really nice and surpassed our expectations. We were very chuffed.

If I was to pick words to describe Harmony Build to anyone considering working with them I’d say: prompt, thorough and very pleasant to work with.

For us it was our first build and it was a lot of money, so it was scary. But the fact they took the time to explain everything made a huge difference. I’d happily recommend Harmony Build to anyone, but especially to first time renovators because of this.

This was the first time we had undertaken anything more than very basic repairs, and we were keen to ensure we didn’t succumb to some of the common nightmares that befall so many renovators. As part of selecting a partner to help us with the work that we wanted done we interviewed close to 10 builders. From the outset, Harmony Build’s direct and honest approach made us feel at ease, and confident that we were going into the project fully aware of what was ahead of us.

During the build, they kept us up to date with progress throughout. On the one occasion we had an issue with an external supplier (not Harmony), they stepped into the breach to deal with the issue and arrange the best possible resolution. Since the work has been completed we have had the opportunity to take a look at the craftsmanship of Dominic and his team in detail. The quality of their project management skills are reflected in the quality of their work – it’s flawless!
